crochet room inspo

Hey guys!

So I recently moved and I chose to paint my room ocean themed. All the walls are going to be painted blue, and I’m going to have a mural on one wall (a cave inside an ocean). Here’s the mural I’m doing:

So basically I’m asking for any crochet patterns that would go as good decoration for my room.
I’m looking for ocean themed but also forest themed too (because there’s a literal forest where I live).
Any patterns would be appreciated. I prefer free, but don’t mind paying for a few patterns. And patterns don’t have to be on ribblr, any are fine.

Any fish or ocean animals would go really well, here is one I foundhttps://ribblr.com/pattern/jellyfish-Crochet-35

I think these would be neat hanging from a banner!

It would be, I love the seahorse in that one!

We’d have to paint over it and stuff. Would ruin the wall and take more time. I guess I could do some sorta paper mural.

You are speaking my language! I love ocean themes and animals. Here are just some of the ones I have that are free.

Oh yea true. Maybe you could just paint small things on some parts of the wall?
It does take a lot of time tho, but it’s definitely worth it

Ooo I love the coasters, and I know I want to make some octopi. Haven’t thought abt making a garland, but I want to try it now!

What if you were to get a large blue curtain/s or even a huge blue bed sheet and hang in on the wall using curtain rods?

Then you could use fabric paint to add the cave and add depth.

You could then crochet the fish, creatures, coral, seaweed etc and sew them or even fabric glue them to the curtain.

Doing it this way means you can easily change the decor if you change your mind later on and minimal damage will be done to the wall.

It’s portable if you move house, you could even sell it if you wanted and it’s washable.

Yess ofc! I’ll post a picture of my room once everything is painted, but the crochet decor is going to be added in slowly. I’ll just be making things as I have time.
