If your sewing the sides together I like to try it on by connecting the shoulders with stitch markers and then placing stitch marker where I want the arm holes and then just sew up to the stitch markers. Just make sure there’s about half an inch to 1 inch of extra room because it will get tighter when its actually sewed up. And this might go without saying but make sure your arm holes are the same size.

I’ve finished the back panel and sewn the top closed! For day 4 I will be crocheting the sleeves, and be doing some of the ribbing. BUT I have a big question about the ribbing. Should I make it with a different acrylic yarn, (it’s purple so that it matches) or the same yarn that I’ve been using? Vote in the poll pls!
The colors look horrifically different on camera 
mine is so bad. Btw if anyone cares I think I’m for the acrylic purple

And on the topic - I love the color for the sweater so far! Sometimes a lil surprise pop of a different color can definitely enhance the look though.
Like you said though, the colors aren’t photographing right (I would never have guessed that is purple) so I’m having a hard time with voting yay or nay

Day four!!! Only one more day to finish! I didn’t get much done yesterday bc it was my aunts birthday! So I made half of one sleeve and sewed the front and back panels completely together. My camera is still pretty horrendous, but at least you can get an idea of what it should look like
