crocheting without looking!

I use my fingers on my left hand (i’m a righty) to feel where the next stitch is. Then I put the hook and the rest is muscle memory.

Heh I was doing the same! I opened the window to get some light but gave up because my sister was next to me, sleeping, and I didn’t want to wake her up. I just feel for the sc stitches when I work with faux fur yarn, which is actually impossible to see the stitches.

When I crochet in the dark I like to use bulkier yarn (like weight 7), it makes it easier to feel the stitches instead of a weight 4 yarn.

Also you can use a looser tension so you can feel the gaps in the stitches

I tried once and let’s just say what I tried to crotchet may or may not have looked like it came out of a science lab and not a bumble bee
