I’m making a shell-inspired bag for summer and need some advice on how I should continue. Critiques please!
Attached is the front panel out of two, and I’ll line it with a neutral fabric. My main problem is I’m not sure if it looks much like a shell! I’ve attached an additional photo showing what I would do to it to make it look more shell-like. I tried ribbing the front (to make shell ribs) using single crochet (US) but it turned out really chunky and swallowed the design underneath. Also not even sure if the yarn I chose is giving rustic beach vibes or just rust-y!
