Did you know there are tags for things? When creating a topic you might see the “optional tags” option and that has many possibilities. Just type the # symbol and boom! You have a tag.

Thank you for posting this. Many new and light users of the community do not understand the sorting and searching features of the community. By using the community search function and advanced settings, you can use titles, tags, and users to search for any topic or reply on any subject. Using this feature will allow you to find answers to many questions that have already been answered as well as handy topics posted by ribblr that explain features and how to use them.
You can also click on a tag or space and pull up other topics with the same tag or space if you want to see more. Likewise, if there is a subject you do not want to see, topics and spaces will also filter these out, so if you are not into knitting, you don’t have to see topics about it.
The ability for others to find or remove information and create a community experience just right for them is why proper spaces and tags on every post is important.

Using the hashtag in the body of your post will give you the cool graphic but it is not needed in the tag box in order to work. It is a cool graphic
