Do I have to weave in ends?

I don’t have needles neither knowledge on how to weave in ends. is it necessary or do people just do it for the neatness of the project and if it is necessary could anyone give me tips because I don’t understand from videos and where I could get the needles.

Hmmm. I usually weave in my ends. BUT THAT DOES NOT MEAN ITS EASY!!!

I think you should. But you can use your hook to weave in the ends.

weaving in ends keeps the stitches from coming undone. in all my beginner projects, I didnt weave in ends, and they all ended up unraveling.
if you dont have needles, you could just tie a knot at the end. it look a little messy tho. like watermelon said, you can use the hook to bring it in and out of stitches. you can also find needles at pretty much any local craft store

Well, you might need to. But weaving in ends are easier than you might think. It just takes time and practice.

If you tie a knot, it wouldn’t make it unravel. But weaving in ends are more secure in my opinion.

It’s really not that hard, just can be time consuming. Using the same color so it doesn’t show through, weave it through a few stitches, then back in the other direction, and once more again the first way. When weaving though you should not be able to see the needle, or much of it. Otherwise it will show the yarn strand. Don’t pull too hard or it will leave a hole. If it is a wearable, check both sides to be sure it looks good. Practice helps.

If you already cut the ends you can use fabric glue to secure them

When you make wearables it’s always more secure to weave in your ends
I didn’t when I made my first and now all the granny squares are unraveling  tying a knot was not the best thing to do for the middle of a granny square because it just slips through lol

some people glue their ends in I think, so you could glue the ones you have already cut

Use your crochet hook! I didn’t have needles for a long time and I just used my hook for everything (weaving ends, sewing, etc.)
