Does anyone have any tension rings? If so, do they work? I’m thinking about getting these from Amazon.
Would anyone recommend getting tension rings?

Theyre really small, and only really helpful for worsted weight and below. It helped me get started in crochet, but i used them like less than a month and never touched them again.

I have one and couldnt figure out how to use it (even looked it up) i dont think they help.

I use only weight 4 yarn and they are REALLY nice for anything that doesn’t have many color changes

They help your yarn tension stay the same so there aren’t as many wrinkles

I do not, they arent worth it, and are more of a gimmick and create more ecological waste than anything.
Id save the money and get a cool skein of yarn instead

Personally, I love mine. I had such a hard time with a traditional tension hold and i use the rings i bought every time i crochet. If you find one that you would enjoy wearing as a cheap ring even if it doesnt work for crochet i dont think it hurts to try it out
This is my favorite one.
I use it for any size, i have some tiny cottons and use it all the way up to my bernat blanket yarns.

Honestly- ive tried a few and i just couldnt use them. The idea is great, but i feel strange changing up how i hold the yarn. I didnt try for very long as my hands are already messed up, so its no use for me, but i heard they help prevent issues~
