Do you or did you ever buy makes? (vote in poll)

Just curious - do you ever buy finished makes?
I know some people would buy to support a fellow crafter or if for example it’s a knitted sweater and they only know how to Crochet.

  • Yes - always
  • Sometimes - if it’s a skill/craft I did not master
  • Sometimes - to support a crafter
  • Never - I’ll just learn how to make it

Not yet on Ribblr, but I’ve bought project bags & yarn from indie dyers, crochet hooks from Artisans,….

Would you buy (or have you ever bought) say like an amigurumi or a piece of clothing though?

I haven’t, but I would to support someone that needs supporting.

Otherwise, I knit & crochet myself.
So it’s only tools of the trade and sewn things I really ‘need’’

I have, but I admit that they were not IS made, they were made by some artisans in India (not a sweatshop though).
I wanted to try the set that they offered.

I’m pretty picky on buying new hooks since someone started me in Furls a few years ago and a friend sent me an alpha for Christmas 2 years ago :joy:

But I like to have a hook with my wips, so I can’t ever have too many :see_no_evil::joy::woman_facepalming:t2::joy:
