My sister wanted a cat for her birthday so I started making one and just finished. But I don’t think it looks like a cat. Does anybody think it does?

100%! If you wanna tweak it (which it doesn’t need at all), you could try bigger eyes or embellish the eyes more and thinner whiskers? Or add eyebrows or some kind or blush marks to give it more expression that might enhance it’s catty-ness lol
I particularly like the shade of pink you used and the texture of yarn! I just wanna cuddle it so bad! It looks soooo huggable!

My only suggestions, without changing the size of the ears would be to use larger eyes. If you can’t find larger safety eyes, I think crocheted ones would look cute too.

First glance, I knew it was a cat. And a cute one at that. Great job! I think it looks great, and don’t think you need to really change anything, honestly. If you wanted to, I think maybe the nose instead of just a line across, you could do a little triangular shape. But, seriously, it’s not NEEDED.
