Dollar Tree Yarn?

Hi everyone, I am personally a HUGE fan of the Dollar Tree yarn by Premier, and I just wanted to hear y’alls thoughts on the matter. I bought a bunch of the grey tweed, and I am going to make a sweater out of it soon. I have price compared, and even though I am not a fan of the $1.25 instead of the $1, I think it is still a great deal. Please let me know what you think, this is my first time posting on here, so I am excited to join the party!

I am an absolute fan!!! Every time I am with my husband and we pass a Dollar Tree I ask if he would stop. He says, I know you want to look at the yarn. What a great husband I have!! He knows this is not just something that I am going to buy a bunch of something and not do anything with.

I also am not a posed to hand me down yarn either. I received in the mail yesterday from a second cousin 745 miles away a box of yarn that she didn’t know what to do with. She had quit knitting and had some leftovers. And so asked if I thought I could use them.
HECK YEAH! I never turn down free yarn! Some of it is alpaca wool she spun herself.

I also like the dollar tree yarn, I love getting the chenille and regular acrylic yarn, recently also been getting the plush and eyelash yarn, though I have yet to use it lol the colors for all the yarns always looks so nice

This is a journal to one of my makes that uses the Dollar tree yarn the colors are just so pretty! I have other journals that use that yarn too but I tend to forget sometimes lol

Here’s the pattern for anyone interested

I like it but it’s extremely hard to find in my area. Since the my local dollar tree put in the dollar plus section it drastically reduced the whole crafting supply area it’s now just one shelf on the back side of the seasonal area of my store.
So I always try and look at stores out of town.

The yarn is at a really good price the only thing is their chenille yarn is tough to sew with.

I know I do the same!

It is, bc the fluff comes off, but I have learned to deal with it for the price!

Oh that is so sad! It does differ from place to place, but I have found that most are getting yarn sections. And they are getting bigger!

Awesome! I love that yarn as well! I want to try more patterns, so maybe I will try that one for my nephew.

Wow!!! That is amazing! I don’t have many friends who crochet/knit, but the ones who do are youtubers! I love that mustard!

The Just Chenille yarn is my favorite yarn but it is getting increasingly harder to find. About 2 or 3 years ago I picked up some gray and some white to make a penguin. I haven’t seen the white since then so I just get a huge ball for like $5 from Walmart. I have also tried the Dream Chenille which is cool but it is extremely difficult to see your stitches. It has a texture kinda like a soft towl. I actually just went to Dollar tree on Saturday and picked up Just Yarn Plush. I haven’t used it yet but I plan on making a cow.
My local store doesn’t have much anymore but a bigger one recently opened up right next to Micheals and they had new colors of the Just Chenille.
Anyway, I love that kind of yarn so I highly recommend :yellow_heart:
