I used a pattern. If you want to get more into sewing, I would recommend going to https://cholyknight.com. She has amazing patterns, both free and paid and you embroider the eyes or use felt. Don’t start with the duck tho, it’s an advanced pattern. I’ve been sewing for a while now, 4 years I think
