This has come up for me with the April Monthly Challenge. I selected the “Crochet Egg”, completed my journal with photos and submitted my “make”.
When I wanted to submit a second entry, the only way to do it was to add a second journal to the same pattern with a different name and new photos, which now take precedence over the original make photos. There are TWO created items from the same base pattern which cause me to share the same “link” for both “makes/entries” into the contest.
If I wanted to sell either make with the instructions of my additions with photos, I would want each detailed journal separate with separate photos of completed project and parts added.
If I wanted to sell multiples of the same pattern, I would want to list them separately, especially if I made larger/smaller items or used specialty yarn selections that would affect my pricing.
(The last reference I could find relating to this subject was in 2022. “1 pattern, multiple journals separated by divider per project name.”)
