duplicate pattern here and on etsy

These look pretty identical. What do you think?

The head stripes are sewn differently on each, so the Etsy one didn’t steal the photo and change the background; however, I agree the style is basically a replica and that Etsy account has only existed for 2 months. So… yeah.

The Etsy pictures are either AI generated or altered. One thing AI always messes up is writing, and that’s exactly the case here

It also messed up some of the stitches around the eyes and face if you look closely. An extra round randomly sprouts into existence just inbetween the eyes from the right side

I also fear you cannot put eyes actually INTO a round. Some of the photos are like that, some of them are not

some of those photos are definitely AI and it looks stolen. The worst part is they are selling it. How do we report this?

In the first picture the lines are wayyyy to crisp and clean.

My advice is to message the creator, and politely ask for proof of the pattern being theirs (Usually these are differences in the pattern’s writing)
