e-ehehhe fluffy yarn help-

hello ribblr beans :> don’t have much time, so i’ll make this very short and awesomesauce and simplesaucily simplesque yayyy

so! i’m using fluffy yarn for the first time, and i noticed that if i flip the piece, there’s less uh- furriness? fluffiness? and you can’t really see the stitches anyway. so is it better to flip or not flip??

For really fluffy yarn, like faux fur, one side of the yarn strand has all of the fur while the other doesn’t. Generally, you should be crocheting from the outside of the plush. So you crochet hook should be pointing to the inside, not the outside :)) however if you are connecting legs, for example, in your pattern, you have to crochet from the outside of the plush. So flip it if you are doing a complex pattern and you are crocheting from the inside rn, but you don’t have to if you are just crocheting a shape and you prefer how it looks.

Wow this is long :/

i-i saw a thing somewhere (idk but it’s in my memory >.<) but it said with fluffy yarn if you can’t see the stitches, the WS will generally be more fluffy and you should keep that on the outside (i think this was on a random blog COUGH) :> tbh i have discovered that with like semi-wool yarn that more fluff is on the WS… so idk, but it’s your choice i suppose… lol

You can brush the right side, which helps. While I think the wrong side looks better, it’s sooo much easier to work on the right side
