We’re so excited to announce that our ePattern (and Ribbuild pattern editor) just got a huge glow-up.
This update is another big step toward making crafting more accessible for our community across the world.
We completely reimagined what patterns should look and feel like - thanks to your amazing feedback

A clean, simple and aesthetic crafting experience
Ribblr ePatterns are now easier to navigate with a much simpler structure, so patterns are easier to follow. Highlights include:
- New layouts and menus
- Brand new icons
- More polished, useful interactive charts
- Modern doodle mode
- Revamped Go-to menu
- An overall updated design language
Better personalization
It’s never been easier to make a pattern truly yours. Choose language, measuring unit, preferred hand, text size and more - all with one click from the settings menu. You can also find our new stitch counter there, too.
Pick your size and the color of yarn you’re using, and we’ll apply it across the pattern. It’s that simple!
The best media is always a click away
- Open stitch tutorial videos by clicking any abbreviation (with Tips mode enabled)
- Tap any photo to enlarge it
- Watch videos (Instagram, TikTok and YouTube) right from within the pattern
- Access interactive patterns, and track your progress by clicking chart cells
A brand new journal
Journals are at the core of Ribblr, and they are now easier than ever to create!
Tap the journal icon, add your photo, note and mood, and save. The new user interface makes it simple to document progress and keep your project timeline neat and tidy.
Introducing: Focus Mode
Available for all users during April (Normally a Ribblr+ feature), Focus Mode is a distraction-free tool that helps you settle into a flow by focusing on one line at a time. Try it during April!
Progress bar, featuring your beloved Ribbot 
You don’t craft alone anymore - Ribbot will cheer you on, remind you to stretch, and our new progress bar shows exactly how far you’ve come as you track each line.
Help is right where you need it
Our help center now lives inside your patterns, so you can find assistance without leaving the pattern.
And there’s even more
You can now stream Ribblr Show right within your patterns so you can watch live shows while you craft. How cool is that?

Any of the following: Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Threads, or Snapchat.
Do I have to share it on my socials?
Yes - you need to post the content on your social channels to be eligible for a Gem.
Can I earn many Gems?
You can earn one Gem. But we have a few more special gifts for our favorite videos so feel free to create more than one piece!

When will I get my Gem?
Your Gem will be awarded within 48 hours of you submitting the content.
