Is it just me or has this year flown by? I kinda feel like I say this every year, but like I fr feel like it was just march and now it’s already 2026, what the heck dude 
Anywaysss, last year I decided to write down everything I made (crochet & knit) and now I’m gonna share it all with you guys!! (Inspired by @Elaya 's post, go check it out, it’s awesome!!)
For each month I am going to write everything I made and the date it was made. I am also going show pics of my top favorite 2 or 3 items I made that month 
January
2nd- leggy frog

I made 29 items this month, I had done my first market in the last December, it went well and I sold out on my leggy frogs I had, which I think is why I made so many that month, for some reason I was basically prepping for a nonexistent market lol.
My definite favorite make of January was my first knitted sweater!! (Used the step by step sweater pattern by Florence Millers, highly recommend if you are a beginner knitter)
It’s by no means perfect, and doesn’t fit as well as I’d like it to, but I still love it and am super proud of it ^^
My favorite crochet item was probably this strawberry cow I made (I believe the pattern was by onecentcrochet) :
February

I made a total of 26 items this month, I was definitely still prepping lots of bees and leggy frogs ><
My favorite make was probably the checkered bag (pattern by VivCrochetsYT):
I love how it turned out and use it all the time (it’s currently holding a wip of a knitted sweater I started).
I also liked this flower garland I made :) (freehanded)
March

I made 18 items this month, 12 of them being bees lol
here goes my excuse for why I made 25 bees in the span of 2 months I actually sell bees at my parents shop and I also got an order for 12 bees from a different local shop that sells bee/honey stuff :D
I didn’t make a lot of stuff other than bees but my favorite make was probably this scrap yarn basket (my pattern) :
I made it out of a bunch of little acrylic yarn scraps that I tied together and I now use it to hold more yarn scraps eheh :>
Other than the basket, I guess my other favorite make was this wristlet keychain I knitted, it’s really simple but handy to have on my wallet (freehanded):
April

I was in a bit of a crochet slump this month and only made 7 things, which honestly isn’t bad at all, just less than usual.
My favorite things from this month are the wave tapestry and cherry drawsting bag:
(Wave tapestry was freehanded, I used a yt tutorial by chorshan for the base of the pouch and freehanded the rest)
May

Now this was the month that I found ribblr so my crocheting went up a lot with a total of 26 items.
I started designing patterns this month, one of my favorites was my cinnamon roll snail (pattern in my shop) :
I was having some wrist pains this month so I tried crocheting left handed.. umm it was hard. I used the same yarn, pattern, and hook to make these octopi the only difference being I made one with my left hand and one with my right (dominant hand).

The yellow was made left handed and the green one was made right handed. The left one honestly turned out better than I expected but boy did it take long, I timed them, the left one took abt 3hrs, and the right one abt 1 hr.

My favorite of these no doubt is this adorable mushroom tot:
I was lucky enough to test this pattern (by @xhunni ) I loved making it and was so happy with how it turned out.
I also made this confetti jellyfish as part of a party themed comp (pattern by @craftycellist )

And last but not least this jellyfish keychain. What makes this extra special is that I spun the yarn for this myself, I’m definitely proud of it:

I am really happy with all that I’ve made and have definitely improved so much since the beginning of the year!! This was my first year trying to count all of the things I made and ngl it got kinda annoying to try to remember (I wouldn’t be surprised if I forgot a couple or more than a couple things) but now that I’ve counted it all up and had fun reflecting on it, I think I’m definitely going to do it again ^^
I’m excited for what this new year will bring, and I hope you guys will find joy and happiness in this new year as well
