How would you explain colors to a colorblind person?
they can be fun, they can show emotion, i have no idea
Ummm… it’s kinda funny how hard it is to explain something so… simple. I don’t know.
Usually its associated with emotions, I had a friend who was vision impared all her life and associated red with anger, blue with sadness or melancholy, purple with relaxtion, gold with confidence.
Although i was never able to explain pigments with her she did lile going to art galleries or botanical gardens and had me explain color with emotions. It was quite fun!
If they could still see, btu were just colorblind, I would say imagine light, adn thats yellow.
For some reason I associate some things with lines and texture, like smooth bumpy blue, tall pointy red, loose wavy yellow.
I also associate colors with numbers (2=yellow, 3=orange, 5=blue, 7=green are some)
Idk if this helps, or proves that I’m weird
I think the emotion thing would work better
With scent certain smells mean certain colors
I have what is called synesthesia, where I associate colors with words, touch, scent, and emotions. To me, each color represents a different group of things. Some examples include red for anger, blue for sadness/depression, orange for calm and creative (orange helps my anxiety), purple for being passionate, and yellow for being happy, among other things. So basically colors help you express yourself in ways you might actually not know. You can take your emotions and bring them into a color, and just go with it
THERES A BOOK I LOVE WITH THAT. It’s called the name of this book is a secret. Spoiler: a cult wants to eat your brain to stay young forever!
Ooh that’s cool!
