Extra large plushies

Hi guys, I’m new here. I’ve been crocheting for a few months self taught. I’ve made a few plushies and some granny squares and stuff. I’m wanting to make a really big jumbo charizard Pokémon. But I can’t find a pattern I like and I don’t know how to size up the patterns to make them bigger. I’m thinking of making one as big as the jumbo turtles that I’ve seen getting around lately. If anyone could give me some advice or ideas or any help at all that would be great! Thankyou so much! :smiling_face::smiling_face:

Hi! There are two main ways to increase the size of a pattern. The easy way is to size up your hook and yarn (either by using bulky or multiple strands).
The other way is by doubling the pattern instructions. This video gives a good description of how to do that:

Welcome to Ribblr!! :wave::blush:
If you were to choose a really thick blanket yarn and larger hook size, something like this pattern would turn out pretty big! https://www.etsy.com/listing/1726119162/crochet-pattern-bundle-fire-dragon-duo?ref=share_v4_lx
