Fantasy story coming soon?

Hello wonderful people of Ribblr :sparkling_heart:
So last night my brain thought “oh I should write a book” so naturally that what I’m gonna do!

I’m not the best writer so I would love y’alls tips, and once I’m finished a chapter I’m gonna post it here so I can get feedback on it! And pls be honest it would really help

Ok that’s it! Oh and I need a good name for the main character she is 14 or 15 (haven’t decided) has blue eyes, dark brown hair, and that’s all I got at the moment. Oh and almost forgot this is going to be Fantasy!

How fun  What’s the premise?

Also, if you write fantasy and potentially want some readers/feedback, you can consider posting it on Royal Road (RR for short). I have my stories there, too! I absolutely love the site. Fair warning that it has a rating system though, with 0.5-5 stars (and yes, I’ve received every one of them at one point or another - we call it getting into the 0.5 club in the forums, because everyone is going to get one eventually; even (or especially) those who earn like $30k per month on Patreon). Probably won’t happen for a good while though, because there are so many stories that it’s hard to get noticed there (which is good if you mainly write for friends to read it).

If you’re mainly looking for critique, you can check out critique circle. There you give critique to get critique, and it’s a pretty good way of learning more about spotting flaws/what works, making it a great learning platform.

Sorry, I tend to ramble a bit when it comes to creative writing  Good luck!

this sounds like fun!

Best suggest I’ve got is to look into finding an editor you like talking to… and talking to them a lot. ^-^ They’re mostly there to help with spelling and grammar, but if you like talking to them you also have a friend in it with you. ^-^ The support is invaluable.
