Faux Fur Yarn Problem

Hello Ribblrarians! I’m currently trying to make a bunny snuggler with some fluffy faux fur yarn (try saying that 5 times fast lol) and i need to colour change a lot. My problem is that the ‘right side’ is very noticeably less fluffy than the ‘wrong side’. Last time I had this issue i just crocheted it with the wrong side out, but because of the often colour changes, it looks really messy. Does anyone have any suggestions for this? Such as special ways to colour change or something?

I’m not sure if it’s what you’re looking for, but this creator has an interesting technique for working with faux fur yarn:

YESSS that happens with fluffy yarn, and it’s because of :sparkles:reasons that I don’t want to type rn:sparkles: and I just went in with a hook before I stuffed it and pulled some fluff to the right side thru the stitches.

I just brush it with a pet brush and it fluffs right back up
