I just started using faux fur yarn. But I couldn’t see my stitches.. so I put some stitch markers for every stitch.. the result? Now I can’t see my stitch markers, lol
Hehehehe it’s so fluffy tho!!! im sure it’ll look really cute!!!
I usually only use it for rims on cat ear beanies bc of that. Good luck tho, it sheds pretty bad…
You can try holding it together with a thinner yarn (if that makes sense?) That should help you see/feel the stitches
Ohh like crocheting with thin and the fluffy at the same time? That would probably work!
Ohh, could you send me a picture of it? If you have one. that sounds so cool!
Okay!
That’s such a good design! If I didn’t live near the beach I’d be making a lot of beanies, lol
what other yarn did you use?
I meant to tell you the faux fur yarn i bought didn’t shed? If you’re curious what kind i got i got the Micheal’s brand.
I know your pain. I ran out of stitch markers and used bent safety pins as well. I found I preferred the safety pins.
lol!! It’s SO Fluffy!
What Brand Of Fluffy Yarn Do You Use? By the way i love that dog!
I cant remember the brand. I got it at joanns. The color is either goldendoodle or labradoodle.
Lol yep fur yarn is like black yarn . You need a light hook or thousands of stitch markers . It looks good so far though.
You could use scrap yarn to put in each st like you did with the st makers. I would just use like 1-2in scrap pieces of weight 4 yarn and then you can pull them out later!
Another trick that is useful for this situation is learning how to blindly feel for sts. Whenever you crochet with regular yarn, try looking away or closing your eyes and feeling for the st and where to place the hook. Then use a fluffier yarn like velvet or blanket and do the same thing, working your way up to the faux fur yarn.
