fave chenille

hey crafters,

what is your fave chenille yarn? im looking to buy some for amigurumi and are interested in some brands that are cheap, soft, and bulky. frankly i find bernat too rough for my taste and would love some input!

while i normally use bernat myself, I’ve found premier yarns to be quite soft. my only gripe is that the string the chenille is attached to is not as strong as bernat, so if you have really tight tension like me, it may snap

Here are some pf my favorites in order:

  1. Premier just chenille (found at dollar tree)
  2. Honey bunny/baby snuggle (found on hobbii)
  3. Sweet snuggles lite/chenille home slim (found at Michaels)

And if you’re interested in velvet

  1. Bernat baby velvet (joann)
  2. Boheme velvet double (hobbii)
