Do other people have a favorite crochet hook?? I’m talking about a crochet hook that you use constantly even if it’s the wrong size for yarn or just in need of replacement?
For me it’s this 3.5mm crochet hook. This crochet hook has been through a lot and I have used it on projects that should have used a bigger hook size to create less work, but I love this hook to peace’s and I will always pick this one up if I’m doing a plush pattern
My lovely 5mm hook is the One I use the most <3
occasional 6 and 3mm though
My 3.5 for acrylic projects
The hook in the background is my 4.5 which I have been using a lot for stitches like HDC and DC

I like my 8mm for Bernat Blanket. The hook itself has a longer shaft, which I really like. It has a really nice grip and flows really smoothly. It was also really cheap which is a huge upside as well. For acrylic I like a 4.25mm.
3.25, 4.00, and 6.00 are definitely my most used
I forgot to add to mine but the 3.5 shouldn’t be that far out, it’s been through a lot
For amigurumi, my 4.00mm that came with my Squishmallows kit or my trusty 4.25 :>
for like anything else- 5 or 6 mm
I have a set of metal hooks and use the 2.75 mm almost always. If not, it’s the 3.25 mm. But, being metal, they stick on the magnets of my Chromebook so I don’t lose them as often.
Mine are 6.0mm 5.0mm and 4.0mm

for cotton - 2.5 mm/ 3mm hook
for acrylic - 4mm hook
for the thick chenille - 6mm/6.5mm hook
for the normal chenille 4.5m/5mm hook

that’s so small lol but my friend was supposed to buy a 3mm hook but she accidentally bought a 0.3 mm hook :p

I really only use plush yarn, my mine is 6mm but it miiight say to use an 8mm but we don’t talk about that
