Hi all!
I’m looking for your favourite beanie/touque pattern. My goal is to make touques (I’m Canadian!!) for my family for Christmas this year.
I’m currently working in the Lummie Beanie by @Craftsminerdiy which is a great pattern but I’d love to know other patterns that work up quickly and make a nice touque
Happy crocheting!

similar style but my favorite beanie pattern is cheyenne barton’s beanie tutorial on youtube. it’s super easy and pretty mindless once you get the hang of the pattern. also virtually zero cinching which is why i don’t make typical patterns bc cinching a big rectangle is a pain. just a note tho- it’s exclusively done in hdc in the third loop (back 3rd loop) in case you’re someone who despises that stitch

Oh interesting! I’ll look that one up!
Is it done in rounds and decreasing stitches?

it’s worked in rows still and rather than being a rectangle, one side becomes arched for the top of the beanie

How does the seam look? I’ve avoided hats/ etc with joined rounds because the seam is always wonky.
here’s the link to the tutorial i mentioned! @anoswaldoddity if you were asking me about the seams, it looks similar to a knit style beanie since it uses hdc in the 3rd loop. it’s done in rows and not rounds so to join you’re just slip stitching from the brim to the top before cinching and fastening off.
