I’m not sure how to tag this, but i just wanted to share! I just finished a blanket I was working on for my grandmother for Christmas. It took around 2 months of constant work to make all of the squares, a few days to sew them together, and a few more days to weave all the ends in. I designed it using colourwork graphs I found on Pinterest, and all and all I used about 10-11 balls of Bernat Premium. This entire thing, save for ONE border row, is made entirely out of single crochets. If that’s not love, I don’t know what is

Should I make this into a pattern? I’m thinking about making myself one now haha
also featuring a kitten for size reference because my cat decided she needed to lay on it as soon as it was on the floor haha
What are you guys working on for and over the holidays? Any recently finished wips? I’d love to see them!

I started a couple blankets. Nothing that big though. The first is using my keyboard scarf pattern (half done), and then I will add the blanket to the edge. Link here: Keyboard Scarf: Crochet pattern | Ribblr
The second is a just for fun. Because I wanna work with Bernat blanket yarn.

It’s an easy 2 row repeat. I saw this blanket on YouTube. Changed the pattern up so I don’t have to cut the yarn on every end, like one review mentioned doing. But basically the same. Here’s the link.
