First market in a new state!!

I have been stressing about this for weeks or even months and the day has finally come! Come to find out, my table is kind of overflowing. I suppose that’s a good thing though. And we haven’t officially opened and I’ve already made two sales.

That squid is amazing!!! What pattern did you use? And Goodluck!!!

Thanks. The pattern is by crafty intentions. And what’s nice is it takes just one skein of the variegated Walmart house brand yarn. I still used white and an accent color for the details and around the tentacles, but it’s pretty convenient.

hi js a piece of advice, i think ur underpricing some of your products!

Thank you for the feedback. I know I am on most products (if not all) but I’m trying to sell at a decent price. When I priced the bags it added up to 80 but that didn’t really feel like it would sell so I lowered it.
If some of these don’t sell I might put it up on Etsy at full price… I need to make an Etsy store first though. Shouldn’t be too difficult. Anyway, thank you. I’m going to take that into consideration for next time.

It looks amazing!!! I hope it went well and i think it would be really cool if you told us how it went like what was your best sellers?

It went well. No surprise that the larger items didn’t sell but most of the small ones did. Mainly the bees, some beans and rocks, and a lot of the dragons. All three fish got sold too and a few of the pillow balls.

Overall, it went pretty well.

I had more stuff than I thought. A customer also said my booth was not like any others because I had a large variety of stuff. I don’t like to repetitive projects making several of something so I just make a little of everything. The bees and mythical creatures sold to best. These are mostly the things that I make

So maybe a tip is to add variety and display also helps with advertising.

Often times you end up with extra so don’t stress out about not having enough like I did. If you can cover a small table, I think it’ll be fine. My table in the picture was fairly large but I think if I had less stuff I would’ve been fine.
(I’ve got dogs swarming me as I’m writing this:sweat_smile: so if there’s a mistake it was caused by a dogs tongue.):joy:
