First Time Crocheting (project sharing)

Hello!

So Im rather new here and can only hope this is fine to post.

To start off, Im rather new to crocheting. I started maybe a week ago. I’ve been making plushies, toys, mostly but have patterns waiting for my yarn order to come through that’s clothing. Which Im excited about.

I figured I would create this topic to share my creations and get feedback on them. Possibly ideas as well, though they would need to be basic as again Im rather new and still learning.

Right now im limited to colors and borrowed yarn, but Im having fun!

Below are some of my creations ive manage to do and though they dont look perfect im rather happy with them.

Anyway, I hope hope you have a good day and thanks for reading!

This is my latest project, its a little star. Although its a little lopsided, I think its rather cute!

I see a few places I need work. Im still working on the sewing of the mouth and the stitches can be a bit tighter. But im happy with most of it and have it with the rest on my computer tower!

Thank you everyone for the warm welcome and positive feedback!

Im actually turning my otter into a fox… the orange color just matched it more so im winging some of the pattern to the best of my abilities.

I did mess up on the stitches again… But i think it turned out okay! At least passable.

Though im a bit stuck, I admit.

Im torn between adding a big ol tail and just making head plushies or if I should make a full on doll body with limbs and a body.

I was wondering what yall think i should do? The pattern im using is a free otter pattern on here, i dunno if i can link them…

The creator is: Unique patterns | Wooli Amigurumis | Ribblr

On the plus side, the tuff on the head turned out great!

I am still working on it, but its super cute! Not perfect… I got a bit confused on the feet and arms but hey he looks so cute!!!

im actually proud of this little fox… head is a little wonky, i think when I was sewing it shifted on me… I forgot to put the pins in to hold it.

But kinda looks like he is curious?

Anyway!

Im calling this a success!!!

Hello!

So ive been working on a Pokémon plushie but… I couldnt get the multi color switch right… that being said I present, goofy!

As you see the color change is a mess but im proud to say I learned a lot during this. Ill probably make another with what ive learned. But I am happy with it. One of my favorite Pokémon!

Im working on a psyduck for the husband. It’s a makeshift pattern I pieced together from what I know so far. Gonna be a chunky boy and im gonna try to follow the appearance as best as I can.

I just wanted to praise myself for how nice it looks so far with the magic ring and the pattern. It’s helping me practice my Single Crochet a bit more with this yarn.

Im excited to finish it but i wanna take my time on it. I know there are patterns on here but i wanted to try my hand at a basic pattern i did myself.

That being said i finally got a shelf for all my plushies! The amount is growing and I have to say Im having fun and can’t be happier!

I do think my bumblebee is a little chunky though…
