Heyyyyy!!! This was my first time ever using fur yarn and I’m absolutely so proud of myself for how well it turned out! Not only did I accomplish creating something with my new yarn, but it is also my own pattern that I made up!!! I couldn’t tell you the steps of the pattern I created ‘cause I just created it as I went (I should have been writing it down lol) but I think it turned out so cute! Also, if you have any ideas of what this lil guy looks like, idk what animal I was going for so I haven’t really decided what he/she is so lmk what you think :). And if anyone has any pointers on how to keep better track of stitches when using this kind of yarn, I’m accepting absolutely any tips.

And I’m getting better at using Ribblr, YAY!!!

That’s absolutely ADORABLE!! My tips when using faux fur yarn is to use acrylic yarn with the faux fur so u can see ur stitches easier, and to count ur stitches as you go, so you won’t lose count.

Amazing job! As someone who works a lot with faux Fur, I’ll share what works for me;
You can work with acrylic alongside it, as it has been suggested earlier, (I rarely tend to do that, I just straight up use the faux fur with the following tips & tricks)
1.Use a larger hook than the pattern calls that way the stitches are easier to feel. [this is where i say that if you want a significantly smaller project, use the acrylic yarn method]
2.mark the beginning and end of your rounds;
3-4.Don’t rush & count your sts after each Rd!
And as with anything & everything, the more you work with it, the easier it will get.
Hope this helps!

Awww it’s so adorable! I’m planing on using faux yarn this summer when my dad brings some over (cuz it’s cheap, like less than $2 a skein cheap)
I lwky think you could either make it a fox or ferret if you add a muzzle and nose :D
