Flamingo pattern help

I’m working on the Floyd the Flamingo pattern from YokattaPatterns. Can anyone tell me what it means to ”Roll the resulting spiral like a cinnamon bun, not like a pine cone.” A photo accompanies the instruction, but doesn’t clarify what is meant.

Thanks.

So many helpful suggestions. Think I’ve got it. Thanks so much.

is it for the rose? i think it means to roll the flat edges in a spiral/circle, and not going upwards or making a tube or anything- so sort of keep it flat

I haven’t used this pattern before but i hope this helps!

It means to roll it, but don’t let it stick up.

Idk if my photo helpsz you don’t want the flower to be pointy. Roll it so it looks like a flower
