Preach! Honestly, if you’re an adult, it’s not as bad to share your age, but still, DON’T DO IT! Especially if you are a minor! Believe it or not, there are predators on this website and many, many others. As much as we would all love to believe the world is a safe place, it’s not, there are weirdos and creeps who will take advantage of you. Don’t be lured into thinking that it won’t happen to you because it’s “rare”. It isn’t. People need to be careful, especially minors. Anyway, as @Pheniox1 said, don’t share your personal info online, especially your age or address. Don’t share medical info either, your full name, and anything else that can be used to identify you.   • 1/12 of children are exploited or s*xually abused online
  • Children between the ages of 12-15 are more likely to be groomed online
  • there has been a 89% in child exploitation crimes in recent years

Exactly! Just because you don’t know anyone who has had something bad happen to you doesn’t mean it can’t. The statistics speak for themselves. It is a real issue.

Unfortunately theres even more people who don’t report it so the numbers may actually be higher.

Yea. It’s sad that it’s an issue at all. But no use being sad about it, that doesn’t get you anywhere. At least there are people in the world who care enough to try and fix it.
