So, I was randomly telling the germs page (I miss the old gem prices, but I digress), and I noticed the option to purchase gems. £5.99 for 120…. Here’s the thing, 120 gem patterns appear to be around £3.80 ish… so…. Make it make sense please….

Buying gems is meant to supplement what you already have. So if you have some but need more, you can buy them. It is cheaper just to buy the pattern outright though so I agree with you there, the translation isn’t great.
But to me the new gem pattern costs make more sense. Before it would take an entire gem to even get a small pattern. Now some are less than 100 (the equivalent of 1 gem). Others that might have been 2 before are less than 200 so they are assisting the prices accordingly so you’re paying less for some than you would have in the old system. Some may be slightly more but it does balance out in my opinion
