I’ve been slowly adding stuff to my insta if you wanna take a wee gander at it. So far for me it’s just been photos of my makes with pattern credits and a link to the ribblr pattern. Once you get yours set up I’d love to post some of the pattern tests I’ve done for you and tag you in them if that’s okay :)

This is so exciting! I currently don’t have an account, but I plain on getting one. But idk what to do with that account yet. I’m not sure if im gonna sell my creations on there (locally) or just post photos of my creations on there for the public to see. I’m a little stuck here on what to decide on cause I don’t wanna reveal my location publicly on that app for people on here or just anyone on the internet to see :smiling_face_with_tear: im both a little anxious and nervous lol

I’m terrible at social media. My account has about 180 followers so it’s pretty weak compared to others. I just post new releases and tester calls mostly. I wish I was motivated enough to try and make videos of my crocheting stuff but I don’t think that will happen

That sounds great!!! Thanks so much. It’s set up now, (I’ll only day it once, again I don’t want to say something I shouldn’t on Ribblr) but it’s @craftycellist on there as well

Haha, thanks for the advice! Not sure if I’ll do videos… I don’t have a good set up for that

Nah it’s fine, pictures are good too, reels just get more interaction, that’s why I suggested it

Hello, just wanted to tell you that we aren’t supposed to post external links! So, I would suggest deleting this post.

I post my WIPs on my story and my finishes objects as a standard post. It’s nice to have an Instagram because you can tag the creator of the pattern and the yarn brand you used. I also love seeing other creators and their projects!

If you end up making one let me know! Im very active over on Instagram, and do a lot of testing over there as well @alyphira_crochet I’ve posted a few of your tests over there.

Generally speaking i post tester calls and finished products/in person market promotional materials when I know ill be at in person events.

Oh fun! I am also gonna be making my own Instagram account that I will use to sell my crochet plushies! I think if you are willing to that would be a good idea! :)

I do a lot of things that I’ve made recently, yarn hauls, yarn organization, etc.

I originally started it to kinda use as a showcase for my work, so if someone was asking for a specific item i could show them what ive made in the past and do a custom.

Since I am a minor, I have no face or location connected to my posts, and my online name is different from my in person name as well (I may have a slightly paranoid mom, and i really wanted to start an instagram so thats what she asked i did.)

I would love to follow you over there, so when you make it could you tell me what your handle is?

My ig is sarainstitches if you want to check out some of the stuff I’ve done. I don’t have a tripod or anything to take videos, so some of them are kinda shaky. I like to expiriment with different transitions but some totally flopped
