I can’t find the post I responded to about a beginner learning to sew on a machine, but I assume there is more than one and will be more, so I’ll just put this here:
There is a website called DIBY CLUB that I had completely forgotten about.
This is a small business with patterns for sale, but they do have a nice collection of free patterns and free lessons for beginners starting with threading and adjusting your machine, and what needles to use for the fabric you are using…and how to pick the right fabric for your project and what makes a good starter project.
