Gift for someone who lost a loved one.

HI guys, I know someone(not very well at all) who lost their mom on the 1st and she is in 7th grade and has a little brother. She died suddenly of some sort of brain disease and I wanted to make a blanket but I don’t know which one or how to go about giving it as I will have to give it in school. I don’t want to seem obnoxious or up in her business but her mom worked at the elementary my siblings go to and the school sent an email to support the family. So… If you guys could help me that would be amazing!!!

As someone who lived through a house fire and a new widow I can assure you that ANYTHING you make will be greatly appreciated by the family. A throw blanket for the couch would be wonderful!

Maybe a pillow? It’s kinda quick, but practical and cool.

what about a flower bouquet blanket that is popular right now. Secret Yarnery has a really good pattern and it is on her YouTube.

TYSM! I wasn’t sure what to do, I don’t know them very well and it might be a bit awkward but oh well. And my worst fear is to have my house burned down. So sry that happened.
