Gifting patterns

Hi guys!! I was just thinking about how many people on here can’t buy patterns because of the lack of payment options or because you’re too young or just not allowed to spend money here. And I thought it would be nice if we could buy and gift patterns.

I don’t know if that’s already a thing I don’t see it if it is. But instead of only being able to gift the patterns we upload ourselves it would nice if it was an option to buy and gift patterns to friends. That way the creator is still getting what they deserve, nobody has to beg for freebies and it’s just a fun little thing to do for the people who are able to help a friend :) good karma and whatnot.

If you agree and think it would be cool let me know! If you think it’s dumb also let me know! Also not sure if I’m posting this in the right place to get ribblrs attention if you guys do like this idea :sweat_smile:

It’s already possible, on paid patterns :)

what sasha (Sashacrochets) said is right… for FREE patterns you can only gift your own (like the ones you designer), BUT for PAID patterns you can gift other people’s :] there should be a gift button on the pattern page (assuming it’s paid)!!

I know that you can already gift your own patterns to people… im not really sure about buying and gifting patterns however.
