Good cardigan grids/tips?

Hi! I have a question. I want to make a cardigan with squares (Not granny squares) but I don’t know how large to make the squares, and a good grid to go with the squares (A small grid would be great). Does anybody have any good tips?

If you’ve made a sweater before and now want to create one from scratch, you can use a cardigan you already have that fits well as a pattern. Then pick a square pattern you like, make a few sample squares and sew them together, and just do the math for how many more you’ll need. Think about shaping and general sewing techniques for sweater construction, such as set in sleeves if you want a less baggy fit, and what type of edges and collar you want. Have fun! :yarn::star_struck:
