Good Deal if You Sew with Fleece

Fabric PSA

I think we all know that, quite sadly, Joann Fabrics is permanently closing their doors. Well, today I was browsing the closeout sale prices, and I realized that their Happy Value fleece, normally $4 a yard, is only 80 cents! You will never see fleece at this price anywhere else. So if you sew plushies with fleece, like I do, you may want to run to your local Joann before it is gone for good. I know I will be this weekend, as I don’t have any other good options for fabric around me.

P.S. Their more expensive fleece is also heavily discounted, to about $3.00 a yard, if you prefer to use that. And their minky (i.e. fur fabric) is only $3.60 - it’s normally $18.

Just wondering? How do you use the imperial system? I just find it so confusing . (I don’t mean to be rude, but I use the metric system, so the imperial system confuses me)

Here are the length units:
(~2.5cm) Inch (in)
(~0.3m) Foot (ft) = 12 inches
(~1m) Yard (yd) = 36 inches = 3 feet
(~1.5km) Mile (mi) = 1760 yards
