good stash buster projects? 🧶

hi friends!! does anyone have any ideas on projects that will use up a lot of yarn? i just moved into a smaller apartment and i really dont have as much room for my yarn as i used to. links to free or paid patterns are welcome, as well as just ideas so i can search for patterns/create patterns myself! :sparkling_heart:

I’ve heard projects using the waffle stitch are notorious yarn eaters

i just remembered i can quote posts and respond to multiple people at once

i’m definitely considering a blanket! the AC in this place is crazy cold haha. now i just have to figure out what kind of blanket to make!

i might!! i think i’d try in acrylic next time with a much smaller hook. my original misty is giant  :dragon:

little scrap yarn loaf cats would be so cute!!

ooh, i’ll have to add that one to my wishlist!

i just might have to make a blanket since it’s been suggested a few times! i’ll just have to decide if i want to do like a regular blanket or try one with granny squares.

ooh, I’ve never tried that stitch! i’ll have to look into it! :waffle:

i hadn’t thought of that!! i really have been wanting to make a slouchy beanie, so maybe a scrap yarn project would be the perfect time! :eyes:

If you have a lot of scraps or small balls left over, I suggest checking out heidi bears African flower animals. Here is the stegasaurus:

Also, a good yarn eating stitch is the jasmine stitch and would make a super warm blanket

whoa, i don’t think I’ve ever seen a plushie made like that!! that’s actually so cool. i’ll also have to look into the jasmine stitch!!

that’s a good idea too! i think i have some cool snake patterns saved that i could use!
