I’m starting my tester call today and write my testers an opening message in group chat but when I send it comes back as you cannot send a message to that user? Hoping someone can help as I really need to send this message
Sometimes that happens if one of the approved testers has restrictions on their account, it’s unfortunately not an uncommon occurrence
so is there a work around to fix this?
I tried doing it on both my phone and computer ![]()
As far as I know the main work arounds involve finding out who has the restrictions and either booting them or private messaging them about the pattern and making the GC for the other non restricted testers but @Ribblr might have a work around I’m unaware of sine I tend to be a tester and haven’t run tests of my own
Usually it’s minors who have gc restrictions on
Oh and Ribblr can help (if booting is the only option) make sure that it doesn’t effect the persons stats, but I hope no one has to get booted, Ribblr probably has some other work arounds that I have zero clue of, they usually respond in 48hrs max but usually faster
Thanks for your time! I will have to send them one individually ![]()
Happy to help anyway I can
I found the culprit one of my testers was private so I had to remove them from testing.
Thanks

I was freaking out for a second there!![]()
Just saw this and was coming on to say that someone has their account in private mode, but you already figured it out. I am thinking I might have to start stating in my tester calls that you cannot have a private account to apply. This seems to be happening too often.![]()
Good idea saves a lot of frustration later on
That’s what I thought although the same people would probably be the ones that don’t read all the requirements/instructions ![]()
