Any tips on learninng guitar for an almost complete begginer? I dont have the money for classes

Hey there! Ive been playing guitar for a while but I am in no way an expert and this is just the way i learned :))
I started off just learning all the lingo and terms, figuring out all the simple chords and learning how to read tabs! Then after I figured out all of the boring stuff I looked up tutorials on how to play some of my favorite songs! YouTube and the internet in general is a great resource!! There are also lots of apps that help guide you through learning. I hope this helps!!

I used to have an hacked software with tabulations. Guitar Pro ? Something like that. It shows you everything. It was very complete but stopped it bc i’m not very skilled for music excepted for playing Guitar Hero

but ive played piano, and youtube helps alot!!

I got a free app Simply Piano and learned a lot, from nothing to not bad. My grandson got Simply Guitar. It’s free for a while, but even if you don’t pay, you can still do some free for longer. If it’s anywhere as good as the piano one I really recommend it.
