Halloween collab!

Hey everyone! I would love to do a Halloween collab with you all!

Here is the idea:

Each person will sign up to design a different Halloween themed square motif. At the end we will have a bunch of squares that can be used to make a Halloween blanket! The pattern will need to be published in your shop for free so that everyone can acces them all

Summary

• 2 people per item/design (i.e. 2 witch hats, 2 pumpkins, etc)
• Each motif will be 4in x 4in or 8in x 8in (possibly a rectangle that is 4in x 8in)
• can be an applique sewn on a regular square
• Must be Halloween themed but doesn’t need to be spooky
• Must use weight 4 yarn and a 3mm-4mm hook

Due date would be 2025-08-17T04:00:00Z so people have time to make them before Halloween

Note: it can be a granny square (uses the granny stitch), square motif (doesn’t use the granny stitch), tapestry square (made in rows), any stitch square with an applique, as long as it meets the dimensions

ooh, this sounds interesting! when you mean “regular” square, does that mean a granny square design and not a tapestry design? or it can be a granny square, appliqué, or tapestry square? i just want to make sure before i sign up.

It can be a granny square or a square made of rows! The most important thing is the size so that they all can be assembled together The reason I didn’t say granny square is because it is only a granny square if it uses the granny stitch. Otherwise, it is a square motif

As long as it meets one of the dimensions, it can be any type of square that way the will all fit nicely together in any combination
