Frfr! My favs are guns and ships, you’ll be back, and wait for it! I’m obsessed with musicals wicked, Hamilton, SIX, the greatest showman, Kpop Demon Hunters!!! I am an honorary theatre kid bc I do video production as my elective, I play the cello, but I don’t know anything about singing and I need to for auditions! Any tips?

So basically chest voice is kind of like the low strong voice that most people talk in, and you use it to sing really strong notes, and then head voice is the higher register that is more light and you feel the vibrations in like your neck and head when you sing it. Sorry if that was a really bad explanation lol, if you don’t understand there are lots of good videos! But anyway a lot of musical theatre is sung using your chest voice.

Also I would recommend if you get to pick the song, find a song that you feel pretty comfortable singing, so that way you can focus on making it sound good rather than focusing on having to hit really difficult notes.
