Hello! I have a question regarding rows 14-17. The video says that it is supposed to be half double crochets (hdc), but the pattern says single crochet (sc). I’m just curious which one is correct. Thank you for the help!

Oops I keep meaning to make a note of this. I changed the pattern after the video to sc because it seemed easier to get the spike stitches into - I am making the note in the pattern right now.
