Have you had your pattern tech edited before publishing?

Hey Crochet Designers

I’m a certified crochet instructor and technical editor! My business is all about empowering crochet designers by educating them while tech editing their patterns!

Do you have a tech editor you work with? Never heard of tech editing? Let’s talk!

Designers will send me their crochet patterns, and I’ll edit them making sure there are no errors in the grammar or math; I check to make sure everything is consistent, easy to read, and follows industry standards; I also make sure that the pattern is accurate and concise. I go through the pattern with a fine tooth comb, making sure it’s as flawless as possible before sending it to testers!

welcome to the community! We actually do have at least 2 other tech editors here that I know of, so you won’t be lonely
I added tech-edit announcement patterns and testers to the post to make it easier search/sort later

I’ve worked with @StitchReader on a couple of my patterns. I’ve been designing and publishing for a few years now but only recently started to get my patterns tech edited.
I have to say it’s definitely worth it.
