I live in a highrise (with my 2 ND teens and our 2 cats) and there are repairs being done to the balconies (all 120). They’ve been working on them for just over a week, and still have 7 more weeks to go. It’s constant loud noise. Sounds like a jackhammer coming through my ceiling and it’s been from 830am to 6pm, 6 days a week. I feel like I’m about to lose my mind. I just needed to vent about it. None of us can deal with loud noises. We’re all walking around with noise reduction headphones on.

I’m sorry, I understand this a lot. Loud noises can get overwhelming easily, especially when nd. I hope it gets better!

Our landlord told me this morning that today should be the last day of metal grinding for a couple of weeks, because they’re moving to cement repairs tomorrow. Then they’ll go back to it, but at least we should get a bit of a break.
