can someone give me a pattern for a granny square that is exactly (or at least pretty close) 6 inches on each side using weight 4 yarn? It doesn’t have to be off of Ribblr, and preferably a video tutorial, because i cannot for the life of me understand written granny square patterns
if it is a written pattern, that works too, I can probably figure it out, i just need something that would be 6 inches wide on each side, i dont really have other preferences that are fully necessary.

What if you just make any granny square that’s close and then block it to 6 inches on each side. You cannot make it smaller , but you can make it bigger by blocking it. So if they are five and a half by five and three quarter, then you can block it to 6 by 6. And by blocking, I just mean getting it wet. Either damp in the sink or with a spray bottle. Do not ring them out, just press with your hands. Put them in between towels. Pin them out on a piece of cardboard, a piece of foam, blocking boards, corkboard lots of ideas. But measure them to six by six inches, and they will dry that way.
If they are too big, try a smaller hook. If they are way too small, try a bigger hook.
