Greetings fellow fiber artists. I have 3 questions for you
- Do you have any knitting patterns for beginner knitters
- Do you have any recommendations for Amazon knitting and crocheting supplies
- If you were to meet a celebrity who would it be
•Huge Ackman
•Ryan Reynolds
•Zendaya
•Dua Lipa
• Chris Evans
sorry for the random question at the end

Hey there, fellow fiber artist!
Great to see another knitter/crocheter here on Ribblr! Let’s get started:
- Beginner Knitting Patterns: Definitely! There are a bunch of simple patterns perfect for beginners right here on Ribblr. Scarves and hats are always a great place to start. Don’t be afraid to ask for recommendations in the forums too – the community here is super helpful!
- Knitting and Crocheting Supplies: While online shopping can be convenient, I’d recommend checking out local yarn shops if possible. You can see and feel the yarn before buying, and they often have great advice. But if you prefer online, there are plenty of trusted indie yarn dyers and craft supply shops that ship.
- Celebrity Crush: Ooh, tough choice! Zendaya and Ryan Reynolds are both fantastic. Who would you pick and why?
Happy crafting!
this is the top artist for starters @MaughanFabrication

i haven’t bought much stuff off of amazon, but they do have a decent color selection for bernat blanket yarn. i can’t knit to save my life so im no help there lol. as for celebrities, i think I’d be way too awkward if i met any of them, probably wouldn’t even be able to have a conversation lol, but maybe Gerard Way?

It’s kind of cool to get a shout out on here. I didn’t wake up thinking that would happen at all, any day close, but, something that is really awesome that I think more crocheters should know about is kindle unlimited. Yeah I know Amazon for supplies, not so great. Ribblr for free patterns, of course I’m gonna support that, I make them. But kindle unlimited has source books for free so long as you’re subscribed! I’m talking granny square books, amigurumi books, learn dictionary stitch books, books from beginner artists and your favorite artists are all starting to get included in kindle unlimited. It’s not something I would have thought to look at, because when you think of kindle, you think of it being just for standard books but there are SO MANY books published on there that are great for beginners. I like to use them sometimes when I want a new stitch but I don’t want to scroll Pinterest, they are so useful.

Also sorry ik I said mostly crochet books but they have literally everything. I mean it. They have everything down to vintage cookie recipes from the 1950s.
I also forgot to add and this is a lot so bare with me: if you’re starting with something start chunky, not plush, just chunky. Hometown yarn is good, or wool ease. I gave up on knitting because I tried starting with DK. Make a chunky vest or make some chunky swatches to sew into a blanket! I’ve always wanted to do something like this with my stuff, or even a sensory book for a kiddo.
Places for yarn and supplies: The dollar store has yarn but it’s super fine dk or worsted and they carry standard needles if you’re US based, if not and you just want to try, Walmart has kits, chunky yarn, they are even getting their own brands of yarn. Hobbii has great stuff but shipping takes a long time, Joanns is where I get a lot of stuff you just need coupons, but really if just find what works for you! I don’t have local yarn stores here so if I want to order something special I have to find a work around. Arcane fiber works carries beautiful hand dyed yarns if you want something that route.
