So I’m gonna learn knitting woohoo
I’m a Beginner at Crochet and gonna learn knitting too so that’s gonna be little hard
And I am learning or learned henna so just have practice every day it’s gonna be hard
So can you guys give me any suggestions about these things that you know and would help me learn

It’s a good idea to start with circular knitting needles cause most patterns will require them.
Knitting actually takes up less yarn then crochet so keep that in mind and everything in knitting is made up of the pearl stitch and the garter stitch.(later on you’ll learn increases and decreases but those are a bit complicated)

Knit stitch and purl stitch are the main two stitches.
Knit every row = garter stitch Results in a bumpy texture on both sides
Knit one row, purl the next (repeat) is stockinette stitch also called stocking stitch. Stockinette will be smooth on one side and bumpy on the other side
Search YouTube for how to videos. There are also how to knit websites you can look up on Google if you’re not allowed to use YouTube
Straight needles are far more common for beginners to use. Scarves and dishcloths are great to learn with
Circular needles are used for sleeves and other tubular things. Scarves can be tubular projects as can socks.

If you knit one pearl one you get a stretchy fabric can’t remember what is called

That would be seed stitch. It goes by other names as well
You k1, p1 repeat across. On the next rows you knit the purl stitches and purl the knit stitches

But with the set I didn’t got the wood things or whatever you call it I got hooks very small Hook

The top one is stockinette stitch. The bottom one is seed stitch

Stockinette stitch makes a denser fabric and the knit one purl one method for ribbing looks a lot like it
What makes it different from seed stitch is you knit the knit and purl the purl instead of knit the purl and purl the knit

Did you get it off of Amazon? Cause it looks like those are just normal crochet hooks and sometimes people don’t know the difference when they sell it
