Hi I am trying to estimate how much yarn I will need for one of MMario’s patterns called Ruggedo meaning Gnome King. There is no yarn thickness provided, no needle size provided, and no yarn yardage provided. The only things I know is that there are 6 set up rows, it is knitted flat, there are 159 rows total, 2 rows of garter stitch at the end, and then the bind off. I am not sure how to estimate this. If anyone could help that would be greatly appreciated.

Gl, I can’t really help aince I suckkk at math. My advice is just to by way more than you think and hope. Also write down all the yarn names/brands in case you run out

Have u tried to look on line for a pattern like it similar size and see what the yarn usage is also thickness.?
Does the pattern state what yarn is used?
No
I would say play it safe and be prepared to use about 500 grams to be on the safe side, also what does the yarn look like in the Pic of pattern
The designer doesn’t have a picture of the yarn, it’s up to your imagination

Hi! I’m a crocheter, not a knitter, but I really wanted to help cause I see there’s been no answers. Unfortunately, I think it will be a bit difficult because the original creator did not leave ANYTHING to help. Have you seen/looked for a similar pattern? If you are able to find something with the same rows or even more, you could use that pattern as a guide.
