Help! I can’t figure out how to create an existing PDF file for my crochet pattern!

I’ve been crocheting a bunch lately and decided it’d be cool to make a pattern, so I made a cute star hair tie pattern. Now I’ve been trying to publish it for a few hours, but every time I do, it says “Must attach a PDF file.” I’ve read through the Ribbuild manual, I’ve messaged the Ribblr people… but still no luck! Anyone out there know how to do this?

I’ve heard of this happening to others… Had Ribblr responded yet?

They have a team that works in all different time zones… How long ago did you send it?

You know the options to make an existing pattern or a new one? Maybe you click an existing pattern and you need a file.

I just copied everything into a document and copied and pasted into Ribbuild and it worked… but the Ribblr people didn’t get back to me until 2:21 am and they asked me if my issue was resolved seeing as how I published the pattern. So yayyy
But thanks for your help

I know you already managed a workaround for this, but when you create an ePattern, Ribblr gives you a “Generate PDF” option. Now, I’m on a subbed membership for Ribblr so I’m not sure if this works for free versions or not, but it is there.

You go to your shop > patterns > click the cog wheel in the upper right of your pattern that you’ve already input fully > 4th down is generate PDF

Thanks for helping! I actually tried this, and it generate the PDF, but I couldn’t save the PDF nor could I exit the document without having to close the app.

Have you tried doing this through a browser on another device besides the phone and don’t use the app?
Although, I would think you should be able to do this through the app?
Moving this to support space and tagging @Ribblr
